At Lord Freyr Paddles, we believe that as a partnership in a BDSM community, trust, integrity and communication is above all else essential for developing strong bonds and friends for life.
Are designed with both parties in mind. We use recycled timber as a preference but also sustainable new growth timber. No two products are the same as they are created in timber when an order is received, and the majority are made by hand and loving care for your enjoyment. All products except the Signature Dominator are treated with bee's wax. It is natural timber and will dry out and needs to be looked after to ensure the longevity of your products life. Because the products are handmade, they are started when an order is received. Please allow 2-3 weeks for your purchase to be posted. Once posted you will receive a tracking number.
At Lord Freyr Paddles, we know that the BDSM community has had to spend way too many years underground. As it is becoming more accepted in the mainstream, the lessons that we have learned for strong trusting loving relationships are able to be shared with the rest of the world.
No matter what CONSENT needs to be given and received by both parties. If one party does not give CONSENT then stop what you are doing straight away. This is mandatory
All play with these paddles and knives is to be done in a safe manner. Agreement between both parties is mandatory with regards to safety. A "SAFE WORD" is necessary, whether it be a word or the usage of the traffic lights. Ensure that you have this discussion before any play.
Should be obvious but not necessarily so. If a partner is in emotional turmoil, then a chance they are not in full control, this leads to injuries and someone getting hurt. Ensure you are both in a sane place with your emotions before playing.
This cannot be stressed enough, communication, communication, communication. No matter what your dynamic, you must communicate what your expectations, wants and needs are, as must your partner. From the communication comes the building blocks of trust. After all, depending on your dynamic, you are handing all control to your partner, except for the safe word, this is the ultimate level of trust.
In all dynamics, whether you are the dominant party or the submissive party, you all need aftercare of some type at some point. Ensure that this is discussed before play and that both parties know what the other party needs. This creates for a beautiful enjoyable experience.
The saying without pain there is not pleasure is true, but for some people and some dynamics only. A brat is not a masochist and does not want to have cut skin and pain that they cannot sit down. A masochist does not want to be tickled, well sometimes they do.
Communicate and discuss the levels of pain and pleasure that the play is going to impart on the participants. DO NOT ASSUME, ask, understand, learn and enjoy.
